Karen Phelps, Director
After completing a three-year Bachelor of English degree at Canterbury University the first article Karen ever wrote was published. Now over a decade later she has written literally hundreds of articles on a wide variety of topics. Karen’s work has been published in the New Zealand Herald, Sunday Star Times, The Press, Business North, Next, Pro Design and Progressive Building. Her writing work has seen her travel internationally freelancing for publications around the world. Karen has worked for television production companies coming up with creative advertising concepts, website companies writing search engine friendly text for websites and has written a pilot for television for TV3. She has also written a number of plays for children published in Australia, New Zealand, England and the United States.
Karen started Launch Communication in 2008 specialising in helping businesses to market themselves more effectively and communicate with their clients to increase their turnover.
